To ensure that financing and investment operations receiving support from the InvestEU Fund are in line with or contribute to the EU’s sustainability commitments, the InvestEU Regulation requires an ex-ante sustainability proofing to identify and address any negative and positive impacts that these operations might have on climate, environmental and social sustainability.
Our services
The EIB offers capacity building services to help InvestEU implementing partners and financial intermediaries to develop their sustainability proofing assessments of proposed investments for InvestEU financing. This type of technical support facilitates environmental compliance and mainstreams the climate action dimension in investment projects.
