The Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO) is a national institution dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, startups and innovative companies in Croatia.
It aims to strengthen the economy by improving access to financing, fostering innovation and encouraging sustainable business growth.
HAMAG-BICRO assists entrepreneurs throughout all stages of development, from new business ideas to companies entering international markets, by using both national and EU funding.
Its work focuses on SME development, innovation and research and development (R&D), digitalisation, green transition, internationalisation and entrepreneurship support. Support is provided through grants, loans, guarantees and EU-funded programmes that help businesses grow and remain competitive.
