The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) is Poland’s leading government agency dedicated to fostering innovation, research and technological development. Established in 2007, NCBR operates under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and serves as an implementing and executive agency for national and EU-funded research and development programmes. NCBR’s mission is to strengthen the collaboration between science and business, enabling Polish enterprises and research institutions to create and commercialise innovative solutions. Its goal is to boost the competitiveness of the Polish economy and address key societal and technological challenges. It offers grants and funding for research and development projects.
