The circular economy is becoming more and more important considering its great potential to reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner, more sustainable and more liveable cities. What can cities do to kick-start their circular economy journey? And how can cities turn circular ideas and initiatives into reality?

In the second webinar of the C3 webinar series, representatives from the European Investment Bank’s Circular City Centre (C3) team and Circle Economy, together with representatives from circular cities will showcase successful circular city actions and initiatives that can inspire the circular transition in other cities across Europe. You will hear from city representatives who will guide you through their experiences and share challenges and solutions to issues encountered while implementing their circular city initiatives.  

The latest C3 guide "A Catalogue of circular city actions and solutions" will also be presented at the webinar, and EIB experts will discuss other recent C3 activities.

The Circular Cities and Regions Initiative, launched by the European Commission at the end of 2021 to support cities in their circular transition, will also be introduced at the webinar. 

Who is the webinar for?
